The King James Bible – Part 2

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

What will judge us in the last day? How can we be absolutely sure about how we will be judged? What if something that Jesus spoke is missing? If something is missing, how do you know exactly where it is missing from and how many missing items there are?

Here is a rather LARGE problem.

2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

How many corrupt the Word of God? Would these all be men? When has this occurred?

“Corrupt” means to “to change from good to bad” as far as the worldly definition is concerned. Let’s see how The Bible defines “corrupt..”.

91 times in The Bible. Here are the first 3…

Genesis 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

What did God DO about all of this corruption? Ummm, He killed them all.

Genesis 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Here is where “corruption” is used in relation to Jesus Himself…

Psalms 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

“Corruption”, Biblically, is DEATH. God flooded the world for it. Everyone before Jesus died and experienced it.

To “corrupt” something is to KILL IT!

So, let’s see what the NT and Jesus have to say about “corrupt”…

Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

These “MANY” (ummm, that’s a lot) are KILLING The Word of God!

They have made it so people can’t get saved.

“Aw, come on, that’s a bit much, don’t you think”?

People get saved with them all the time. No they don’t.

They  “PROFESS” that they know God but “IN WORKS” they deny Him.

2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God:

Of course, just like Jesus, it can’t really be killed. Not the REAL Word.

Our job is to FIND it.

You see, this exposes the many “changers” or “corruptors” of God’s Word. However, they don’t want to be exposed, nope, they don’t like that at all. Let’s see how they have “changed” this verse itself (to hide their crimes).

(The Living Bible)  Only those who, like ourselves, are men of integrity, sent by God, speaking with Christ’s power, with God’s eye upon us. We are not like those hucksters—and there are many of them—whose idea in getting out the Gospel is to make a good living out of it. (hmm, that’s not corrupting it)

(Amplified Bible) For we are not like many, [acting like merchants] peddling God’s word [shortchanging and adulterating God’s message]; but from pure [uncompromised] motives,  (selling it)

(Contemporary English Version) A lot of people try to get rich from preaching God’s message. But we are God’s sincere messengers

(English Standard Version) For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word,

(God’s Word Translation) At least we don’t go around selling an impure word of God like many others

(Good News Translation) We are not like so many others, who handle God’s message as if it were cheap merchandise;

(International Children’s Bible) We do not sell the word of God for a profit

(New American Bible) For we are not like the many who trade on the word of God

(New American Standard Bible) For we are not like the many, peddling the word of God,

(New Catholic Bible) “profit

(New International Version – NIV) “peddle” (very popular version)

(NEW King James) “peddling

(New Living Translation) “profit

(RSV and New RSV) “peddlers

I think that is plenty. Even the NEW KJV is corrupted.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

The Bible is a gift from God to us. There can be no variableness whatsoever in the true Bible! Do you see that.

Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Is it wrong to take the name of the Lord in vain? Do you think God is minimally serious, serious, very serious, or extremely serious about that?

The Hebrews (Jews) would not speak God’s name – for fear of using it incorrectly.

Which is more important, His name or His Word?

This is what The Bible says about itself.

This is what God Himself says about His Word.

Consider this…

This is a LOT of scriptural evidence. You either believe this or you do not.

If you do NOT, then this conversation means nothing to you anyway, why do you even bother going to church? You are a non-believer anyway, so of course you don’t believe these things.

Some say, “I believe those things”, with their chest puffed way out.

If anyone says they believe these things, then consider these points.

1) The Bible claims to be PERFECT. It must be PERFECT.

2) If something is presented as God’s Word and it is NOT PERFECT then it does not fit the scriptural description and cannot be God’s Word.

3) Things that are different are not the same. Get that. Get it.

There are hundreds and maybe thousands of DIFFERENT Bibles in the world. They are ALL DIFFERENT.

There are really only 3 possibilities.

  1. a) ALL OF THEM ARE PERFECT. ALL OF THEM ARE THE PERFECT WORD OF GOD.

Ummm, think here. They cannot all be perfect. They are ALL DIFFERENT. They cannot ALL be the Word of God.

  1. b) NONE OF THEM IS PERFECT. NONE OF THEM IS THE PERFECT WORD OF GOD. This is impossible if you believe the scriptures. You can believe this if you want, and some do, but this is directly contradictory to Bible Scripture you have just seen.

God’s Word itself says it is perfect.   Hence, it is not a choice.

It is NOT mankind’s responsibility to PRESERVE God’s Word.

It is GOD’S responsibility to preserve His Own Word.

God made the promise. God must keep it.

Even if mankind (or satankind) tries to mess it up!

  1. c) ONE OF THEM IS PERFECT. Since The Bible says the perfect Word of God must exist, I choose to believe this one. Do you?

However, if you believe this, then the next question is – which one?

There are a lot to choose from.

Grab one. Believe it is totally perfect. Without error. Without omission.

Without addition. Word for Word perfect.

They call people like me “King James guys”. This means we believe THE KING JAMES BIBLE IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, “INERRANT”.

Listen closely. Listen carefully.

I HAVE NEVER MET AN “NIV GUY” AN “NASB GUY” OR AN “NLT GUY”.      WHY NOT? THEY DON’T BELIEVE IT IS PERFECT!

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

1Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

If we don’t have The Word we can’t preach the gospel.

God PROMISED to preserve His Word. I NEED it to know truth.

I have chosen the PERFECT Word of God – for me.

You must choose for you. But, there can be only 1. Not 2. Not 100. 1.

Or you don’t have it PERFECT.
