The Keepers of the Law – Part 39

Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

What does this say?  The Bible SAYS WHAT IT MEANS and The Bible MEANS WHAT IT SAYS.

If you don’t get your understanding of scripture this way then you are getting a private interpretation.

So, how can one “overcome when thou art judged”, as the Bible says?   Well, what does The Bible SAY?????

It says, and I quote, “LET God be true BUT [LET] “EVERY MAN [BE] A LIAR;”

If I “let” the kids go out and play, I have allowed them to do something.

If I “let” something happen, I allow it, I don’t prevent it.

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

If I “let” something be TRUE, that is to say I “allow” it or  “permit” it or “believe” it to be true.

Exodus 5:9 Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words.

Numbers 14:17 And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,

So, if a human wants to “overcome when he/she is judged” you must personally BELIEVE that God is true (can/will NEVER utter a lie) but every man is a liar (can/will utter a lie).

So…

Prov 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie:…but a false witness will utter lies.

There are ONLY those 2 kinds of witnesses. Humans like to think themselves honest.

Prov 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes

Prov 21:2  Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

Prov 20:6  Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

Hmmmmm. Faithful.    Faithful? Or Unfaithful?

Obedient? Or disobedient?

Any person that says they DON’T EVER LIE or HAVE NEVER LIED?  They have a lying antichrist spirit. PERIOD.

Psa 116:11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.

Rom 3:4 …every man a liar;

Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

This is how we OVERCOME IN JUDGMENT. 2 Things.

1 – GOD CANNOT LIE. Get that. It is IMPOSSIBLE for The Real God, The Holy Spirit — to lie. EVER.

This is absolutely critical.  Blue Cars. Red Car.

Tit 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Heb 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie,…important… we might have a strong consolation,?????????  who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Context…

Heb 6:13  For when God made promise to Abraham,

When you PROMISE, whom do YOU sware by???? I sware to God. I give you my word.

because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

Heb 6:14  Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

Heb 6:15  And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Heb 6:16  For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

Heb 6:17  Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

What is this saying? God promised. Soooo, He made the promise very clear so there could be NO misunderstanding it.

Heb 6:18  That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Gen 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

17 (1) That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

18 (2) And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
