The Keepers of the Law – Part 11

What happens to them???????????   They “FALL AWAY”!!!!!!!!

“fall away” 2 times

Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

“falling away” 1 time

2Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Remember…

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

“fallen from” only 4 times in The Bible

Job 1:16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.  It WAS in heaven

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  He WAS in heaven

Lamentations 5:16 The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!  The crawn WAS on their head

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

They RECEIVED GRACE with Joy. But they had no REPENTANCE FROM WORKS so they HAD NO ROOT. They don’t really UNDERSTAND GRACE. GRACE means NO WORKS CAN BE ADDED. They add works. SO THEY “FALL FROM GRACE”.

JUSTIFIED –  To prove or show to be just, or conformable to law, right, justice, propriety or duty; to defend or maintain; to

vindicate as right.

In theology, to pardon and clear form guilt; to absolve or acquit from guilt and merited punishment,

Job 9:20 If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.

Isaiah 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

What are YOU JUSTIFIED by???????????

Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Not by your ACTIONS. By your WORDS!!!!!!!!!!

If you are justified by your ACTIONS then you are LOST. If you are justified by your WORDS then you are saved.

Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

You can’t “overcome when thou art judged” BY YOUR WORKS!!!!

Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Romans 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Galatians 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Galatians 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster

Galatians 3:12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
