The Election Count – Part 3
The Election Count: Only those born in heaven, born of God by faith, are counted righteous, are counted for the seed of Abraham, and will be counted among the Elect on that day.
In order to be of that election count, you first need to count something…
Philippians 3:5-6 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
Paul was talking about his birth, his family, his righteous people, his zeal, his obedience, his knowledge. All his things. All his righteousnesses. All his justification. All his trust. All his works! All his life!
Philippians 3:7-8 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss [all carnal things & all things of the law] for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, [you need to forsake all things] that I may win Christ [if you count any of those things gain, you can’t win Christ], 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
You need to count all things but loss – POO POO. Nothing can help you, but Jesus alone!
If you add anything in or you keep anything back (Ananias and Saphira), you will not get Christ.
Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? … 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
This is how one gets saved. You need to count all your things loss for Christ.
Jesus told the young rich man, sell all that you have, give it away, else you cannot follow Christ.
You need to count the cost of following Christ. Count the cost of gaining Christ – winning Christ.
The cost is not a life of good works. The cost is your whole life. The cost is death. The cost is all your things. All your riches. All your teachers. All your family. All your friends. All your carnal things. All your knowledge. All your works. All your righteousnesses. They CANNOT profit. They are but a LOSS. If you have any of them, you LOSE. If you want to WIN Christ, you have to get rid of the losses. Paul had to get rid of HIS gains.
True repentance is the rejection/forsaking/losing/counting as dung of all your things. You can’t value, trust in, any of it. If you do, you lose… Christ!
By this is our election made sure. Lose your life. Die. And be Born Again, in Zion!
2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
Somewhat difficult passage. And I think that in its context, “to make your calling and election sure” means to strengthen yourself in Christ and gain/ensure your eternal REWARDS of the inheritance. The passage is definitely talking about rewards for bringing forth fruit. But, in relation to the election of the Bible, I think it also means to ensure that you ARE saved, that you are elect; chosen. That you have brought forth fruit! To prove yourself.
And how is this done? Not by works, but by fruit! Not by deeds, but by bread. By proving yourself with hard questions of salvation doctrine.
How do you make your election sure? How do you become the election? By COUNTING the cost. Counting your things. What things are you counting? Are you counting spiritual things or carnal things? What works have you counted? Are you counting your works or His works. What have you counted as your fruit? What righteousness have you counted? What have you counted your righteousness as? As valuable, or as dung? Which things are you counting as gain, and which are you counting as loss?
If you want to be a part of The Election Count… you need to count the cost. The cost is all your things, all your works, all your life. You need to count the cost, and you need to count it all loss.
We are the Election. And one day the Lord will count His Elect.
This is the only Election and the only Election Count that matters. That is the only count we should be worried about. Secure your name in that book of life and write in as many others names in that book as you can, by winning souls! That is your job and that should be your only concern, your only focus! Not the American election. The Lord’s Election!

I could sit here and tell you how the American election was legal and fair and there is no evidence of fraud. I could tell you how if you can’t personally prove it with irrefutable evidence, then accept it!
I could sit here and tell you that the American election was illegal and there is plenty of evidence of fraud. I could tell you how if a man takes power by fraud and cheating, we have no responsibility to recognize his authority or submit to his government.
Those are the arguments of both sides of the aisle right now. Both sides of the war. … Which should I choose? Which side should I take? The answer for a Christian of course, is…
Neither. To take either of these positions would be wrong. I should choose neither side of this war.
Get our minds out of this world!
The truth is, I can be absolutely convinced there was cheating, and still preach that the result is good and acceptable. HOW, you say??? How can that be Christian values based on the Bible!?!?!
Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
There is no power but of God. God ordains powers. God chooses rulers.
Let’s be clear: Joe Biden does not become President of the United States without the Lord giving it to him.
Assuming the courts and the judges do not reverse the election results, Joe Biden will be the President of the United States of America. If that happens, there will be no, “That’s not my President” from us Christians. There will be no, “I will never accept his Presidency as legitimate!” from us Christians.
If Joe Biden is sworn in, he is America’s President. And as Americans, he is our earthly ruler. Whether truthfully, or through deceit, how he came into that office DOES NOT MATTER TO US!!!
It doesn’t matter to us as Christians if we think the American election was done unlawfully.
If the election was cheated, or stolen, then God allowed it to be stolen. America’s election may have been stolen from one political party, but America’s presidency was not stolen from God. God cannot lose the election! God will put the exact person he has chosen in that office. If the election was legitimate, the Lord enabled the result. If the election was stolen, God enabled it to be stolen. If there were cheaters, The Lord put those persons in those positions necessary to cheat. He enabled them, authorized them to cheat. If He didn’t, then they couldn’t have cheated. If Joe Biden was not given the presidency, he would not have it. No matter how it came to be.
John 19:10-11 Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? 11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
This was not a special thing for Jesus, nor does it only apply to Israel.
God sets up kings and rulers in the earth. There is no authority, no power, but of God. Not a single person has power which God did not give that power to.
If someone has power over you, God gave them that power. If they oppress you, the Lord allowed them, authorized them to do so.
Don’t think God doesn’t set up wicked kings and oppressors to have power over His people.
We can think of Pilate over Jesus, think of Potiphar’s wife over Joseph, think of Pharaoh over Israel, think of Eglon king of Moab, and of Sisera captain of the host of Canaan, and many other oppressors over Israel. Think of King Jeroboam, King Omri, and King Ahab over Israel, think of Queen Jezebel over Naboth the Jezreelite, think of Queen Athaliah over Judah, think of the lying spirit over Ahab, think of Haman over the Jews, think of Satan over Job, think of King Herod over the children of Judaea, think of the high priests over Jesus. Think Nebuchadnezzar over Shadrach Meshach and Abednego. All these were given power over those more righteous than themselves… by God!
Sometimes The Lord’s people are delivered, and sometimes they are allowed to be slaughtered.
But nobody (whether righteous or wicked) can have power over you unless it is given them from above.
So if Joe Biden takes the Presidency by subtilty and force, IT DOES NOT MATTER TO US. Once he is sworn in and given that power, He is our President. And we are to honour him and submit to him, as the President.
Not because America elected him and gave him power, but because The Lord gave him power!
A man would have NO POWER over us AT ALL, except it were given Him from above! A man can fight and strive, and campaign and flatter. He can deceive, cheat, or attempt to take authority by force. But he cannot attain power, unless God gives it to him. Setting up powers, is not of man… God sets up kings!
Daniel 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
You need to know this! These things happened and were written that you may know this.
If the American election was fraudulent, you’ve no need to fear that some evil thing is happening in America contrary to God’s will. He giveth America to whomsoever he will!
Psalms 75:6-7 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
Promotion doesn’t come from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, or Green Bay, Wisconsin, or Detroit, Michigan, or Atlanta, Georgia. It doesn’t come from the blue states, the red states, or the swing states. Promotion doesn’t come from the east, the west, or the south. Promotion comes from the north! From on high.
If Joe Biden unseats Donald Trump, it will not be some secret back-room scheme, nor some middle of the night secret truckload of fraudulent ballots, nor the authentic will of the American people that ejected President Trump and installed President Biden. It was your Lord GOD!!
Biden could not have, and cannot now win that office without the Lord promoting him to it. Winning the presidency has nothing to do with merit or campaigning or big money! The Lord “giveth it to whomsoever He will”.
If the Lord loved America and wanted to prosper her, He would give it a wise president, and wise governors and wise judges. If the Lord wanted America to have the very best possible, most righteous man in America to be its President, the Lord would set him up. And no amount of cheating or fraud would stop Him. And if the Lord wanted America to have the very worst possible, most wicked man in America to be its President, the Lord would set him up. And no amount of honest and true voting, no amount of money or targeted political ads would stop Him.
Rest assured, whoever attains that office will be the exact one that The Lord chooses. There will not be another in that office contrary to His will.
So whether Biden or Trump or any other man (or woman), that power is ordained of God.
We are under that authority that God ordained, and we MUST NEEDS BE SUBJECT.
Assuming nothing changes before January 20th… Joe Biden will be the President.
Not because the people of the United Stated of America chose to give the presidency to Joe Biden, but because The Lord God chose to give the presidency to Joe Biden.
Maybe he will be a good President. Maybe he will preserve our rights and make this country a safe space for us and our children to learn and to preach the gospel. Maybe…
Maybe he will be an awful President. Maybe he will remove our rights, take away our money and threaten our jobs, take away our freedom of speech, take away the guns out of the hands of the people, and make this country an unsafe place for us and our families to learn and preach the gospel. Maybe…
And maybe, if he is an awful, horrible, detrimental President, who is the destruction and downfall of the safe and prosperous America we know… maybe, that is exactly why God chose Him!
And if so, will you resist the power that God ordained? Will you be found to fight against God? Will you fight against the will of God?
Are we going to resist the ordinance of God? Are we going to resist who God has chosen? Are we going to resist him who God gives power over us to?
You say, “oh that’s all Old Testament. God doesn’t interfere with men and their kingdoms anymore.”
No, that is not true. This is absolutely New Testament, Church-Age doctrine.

For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God [will we resist who God sets up?]: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. [You think you’re making a better life, you’re wrong] 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. [well what about wicked rulers like Ahab, you ask? I respond, what good works? I think you get the king your works deserve. Ahab was a TERROR to evil workers] Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good.
