Obedience vs Disobedience
God judges in BINARY.
God expects PERFECT OBEDIENCE to ALL THINGS He commands. Anything else is DISOBEDIENCE.
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you
How in this world does a man “do all things perfectly, which God commanded”?
Not one can.
Therefore, all of humanity are called “disobedient”.
Romans 5:19 For as by one man‘s disobedience many were made sinners
It is this “disobedience” (it only takes once for God to label one “disobedient”) that makes all humans disobedient sinners.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
ALL of the humans of this world are sinners and are collectively called “the children of disobedience”.
Colossians 3:6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
Ephesians 5:6 ..cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
There is a connection here… look at the 1st part of the verses…

WHY does the wrath of God come on the children of “DISOBEDIENCE”??
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness
There is a very close connection between DISOBEDIENCE and UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
EVERY single human that is NOW SAVED – WAS – BORN AS – one of the “children of disobedience” before salvation.
Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Every human is born completely unable to be PERFECTLY OBEDIENT.
“Children of” is in over 1100 verses! Over 500 are “Children of Israel”. A couple of others of note…
Job 41:34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.
Psalm 14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men (that is every human), to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
“Children of God” only 9 times. ALL in the NT.
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Luke 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Some others, all in the NT…
Matthew 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one
God sees in BINARY. In “THE (whole) WORLD” – there are 2 kinds of children: “of the kingdom” or “of the wicked one”. There is no in-between.
Again, 2 kinds. No in-between.
Luke 16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
Luke 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
Romans 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
Here, the “children of God” are also called the “children of the promise”.
The “children of the world” are also called the “childen of the wicked one”.
They aren’t several distinct goups. There are ONLY 2 GROUPS. They have several different names. But there is no in-between. Ever.
MOST perfectly, these two (and only 2) groups are called:
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
There is NO IN-BETWEEN. EVER. One or the other. Not both. Never both. ALWAYS one or the other. ALWAYS.
But, how do we know the difference?? Well, God tells us right here…
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:
Manifest = revealed or shown…
So, what EXACTLY reveals to us whether a human is a “child of God” or a “child of the devil”???? No in-between, ever.
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
If a human does NOT righteousness or does UNrighteousness
AT ALL – EVER do UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, even ONCE
This is BINARY. This is not judgment via a BALANCE – if the righteous acts outweigh the unrighteous acts. NOPE!
God does NOT judge like that.
A human either DOETH RIGHTEOUSNESS – ALL THE TIME, EACH AND EVERY TIME.
OR
A human DOETH NOT RIGHTEOUSNESS.
It is very simple. No in-between. BINARY.
DOETH RIGHTEOUSNESS = A Child of God
or
DOETH NOT RIGHTEOUSNESS = A Child of the devil
SIMPLE. VERY SIMPLE. EXTREMEMLY SIMPLE.
2Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
It is SIMPLE. It is ALWAYS SIMPLE. IT IS BINARY.
So, let’s ask this question:
If, in order to SHOW THE DIFFERENCE between: A Christian/Saved/Child of God vs. A Lost/Unsaved/Child of the devil
We look for a Difference of: Doeth Righteousness Doeth NOT Righteousness
What difference do you think we should look for with
OBEDIENCE??? Doeth Obedience Doeth NOT Obedience
The Childen of Obedience The Children of DISobedience
And, as with Righteous/UNrighteous, a human is EITHER Obedient or DISobedient. No in-between.
1John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
BINARY. Are you PURE or are you IMPURE (pretty good/trying hard)?
How does one “purify himelf”???
v5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. (not a little sin. PURE!)
v6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
PURE. What is the ONLY way to be PURE???? To be IN HIM!!
1John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
If you do righteousness ONCE, you are JUST AS PERFECTLY RIGHTEOUS AS JESUS!!! Otherwise, you aren’t righteous at all – not even a little bit. BINARY.
1John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
If you sin, at all, you are “of the devil”. You are “a child of the devil”.
1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
If you are “a child of God” then you CANNOT sin. Ever, not even once.
So, God has been talking about “SIN” for 6 straight verses.
1John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
Now, He switches it to doing or not doing “RIGHTEOUSNESS”.
I said 6 straight verses, we only saw 5, here is the 6th.
1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
This is HUGE! Those teaching we need to “obey the law”, LOVE this verse.
They say “there is no sin without the law”, hence, the law is still valid – since we still sin.
BUT, it does nothing to help them.
Christians, DO NOT SIN AT ALL!!!!!! The Bible is VERY CLEAR about this – as we just saw.
That’s what they miss. They ONLY see the FLESH and not the spirit. They are spiritually blind.
I tell people, “you can’t keep the law”. They answer,”it doesn’t say that”. Sure it does…
More than once and in more than one way.
Romans 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, …what is it?… That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
I absolutely believe that. I must. It is Bible.
- So, if it is true (and it is) then why are ALL of the OT saints DEAD? Ummm, I know this one, pick me!
Act 15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. 10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
- The Bible says that nobody can keep the law – several times.
Romans 2:25 For circumcision [the sign/beginning/entering of the covenant] verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
And, if you recall BINARY JUDGMENT dictates that – One is either PERFECT or one is IMPERFECT. What is in-between that???
But, you see, this is EXACTLY what Jesus does for the Believer – that the LAW cannot do.
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
How?
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,…
And how do we KNOW them???? How do we tell the difference???
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
So, what does that mean, practically? How do we discern the believer from the UNbeliever??
They DON’T separate the flesh from the spirit. They WALK AFTER THE FLESH.
This doesn’t just mean they party all the time – like people think. It means they believe THE FLESH is still judged for righteousness. They still think righteousness is according to the flesh. The truth is…
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
What does the law teach? “The man that doeth them shall live in them”.
Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us (Jesus fulfilled the law FOR us – IFFFFFFFFF), who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
So, how do you discern who walks which way?
Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
If they are focused on the FLESH as being any PART OR PROOF of true salvation – they they are “CARNALLY MINDED” and are “DEAD”.
So, to deal with this…
1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
So, sin is “the trangresion of the law”.
1John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin
If a=b and b=c then a=c.
So, any “transgression of the law” is “unrighteousness”.
Then, in the very next verse, the truth from 1John Chapter 3 is repeated here…
1John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not
James 2:9 ..ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
James 2:11 ..For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
You break one law, EVER, and you are guilty of breaking the whole entire law – ALL of it.
This verse really heats them up. Tell a “keeper of the law” that he/she is “guilty of breaking every single law that God has ever written or commanded” and they get pissed!
They accuse you of judging them unfairly. But, where is the unfairness? It is perfectly fair. I am guilty too!!
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

So, ALL HAVE SINNED. And ALL SIN IS UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.
Romans 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
We ARE GIVEN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH IN JESUS!
But, how is that possible?
Job 25:4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
Psalms 130:3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
Eccl 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Romans 6:14 ..for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
So, the law still exists – break it you pay – but THE LAW IS NO LONGER FOR US.
1Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, [A true believer is ALREADY RIGHTEOUS] but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
The LAW was TEMPORARY. UNTIL IT IS NO LONGER NEEDED!
Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
1Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, [A true believer is ALREADY RIGHTEOUS] but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
So, why is the law NO LONGER FOR US?
Because we are no longer DISOBEDIENT. EVER!
Hebrews 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels [the law, see Gal 3:19 above] was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
TRANGRESSION = SIN = DISOBEDIENCE
Only ONE man has ever been OBEDIENT – according to God’s BINARY judgment.
Romans 5:19 ..by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
That PERFECT OBEDIENCE of ONE MAN makes every true believer PERFECTLY RIGHTEOUS.
So, if SIN = DISOBEDIENCE = UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
Then, SINLESS = OBEDIENT = RIGHTEOUS
You see, believers WERE diobedient.
Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Sometimes disobedient = disobedient!!
1Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
If you are disobedient, even sometimes, you will die in a flood – just like the old world did. Only this flood will be a flood of FIRE – the LAKE of fire! (Matthew 7:25,27)
1Peter 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient (ever, even sometimes), the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
1Peter 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient (ever, even sometimes): whereunto also they were appointed.
Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Jesus was NEVER disobedient (sometimes). He is PERFECT. He is RIGHTEOUS. He is OBEDIENT.
And JESUS makes every believer in Him, PERFECTLY RIGHTEOUS
Which is the same thing as PERFECTLY OBEDIENT just like Jesus is!
Romans 5:19 ..by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
SIN = DISOBEDIENCE = UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
SINLESS = OBEDIENT = RIGHTEOUS
Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient (even sometimes), and unto every good work reprobate.
Christians OBEY THE LAW PERFECTLY. IN THE SPIRIT.
THEY ARE OBEDIENT. ALL THE TIME. IN THE SPIRIT.
THEY ARE PERFECT. ALL THE TIME. IN THE SPIRIT.
THEY ARE RIGHTEOUS. ALL THE TIME. IN THE SPIRIT.
THEY MIND THE SPIRIT.
Because their flesh is sinful, rotten and untrustworthy. Even if only sometimes!!!
If you are disobedient SOMETIMES, how can God trust you to “be obedient unto death, even the death of the cross”? He can’t. He doesn’t. He won’t.
God won’t TRUST you until you are PERFECTLY ODEBIENT TO HIM. PERFECTLY OBEDIENT. Not sometimes.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Philippian 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
If it is up to my flesh – I am doomed!!!
Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

In the flesh we are sometimes disobedient. Which means we ARE disobedient. Don’t trust the flesh for anything!
In the spirit we are perfectly obedient. Which means we ARE obedient.
Trust your belief alone, in Jesus, which is PERFECT OBEDIENCE!

I tell people, “you can’t keep the law”. They answer,”it doesn’t say that”. Sure it does…
More than once and in more than one way.
Romans 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, …what is it?… That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
I absolutely believe that. I must. It is Bible.
Act 15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. 10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Romans 2:25 For circumcision [the sign/beginning/entering of the covenant] verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
And, if you recall BINARY JUDGMENT dictates that – One is either PERFECT or one is IMPERFECT. What is in-between that???
But, you see, this is EXACTLY what Jesus does for the Believer – that the LAW cannot do.
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
How?
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,…
And how do we KNOW them???? How do we tell the difference???
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
So, what does that mean, practically? How do we discern the believer from the UNbeliever??
They DON’T separate the flesh from the spirit. They WALK AFTER THE FLESH.
This doesn’t just mean they party all the time – like people think. It means they believe THE FLESH is still judged for righteousness. They still think righteousness is according to the flesh. The truth is…
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
What does the law teach? “The man that doeth them shall live in them”.
Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us (Jesus fulfilled the law FOR us – IFFFFFFFFF), who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
So, how do you discern who walks which way?
Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
If they are focused on the FLESH as being any PART OR PROOF of true salvation – they they are “CARNALLY MINDED” and are “DEAD”.
So, to deal with this…
1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
So, sin is “the trangresion of the law”.
1John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin
If a=b and b=c then a=c.
So, any “transgression of the law” is “unrighteousness”.
Then, in the very next verse, the truth from 1John Chapter 3 is repeated here…
1John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not
James 2:9 ..ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
James 2:11 ..For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
You break one law, EVER, and you are guilty of breaking the whole entire law – ALL of it.
This verse really heats them up. Tell a “keeper of the law” that he/she is “guilty of breaking every single law that God has ever written or commanded” and they get pissed!
They accuse you of judging them unfairly. But, where is the unfairness? It is perfectly fair. I am guilty too!!
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
So, ALL HAVE SINNED. And ALL SIN IS UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.
Romans 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
We ARE GIVEN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH IN JESUS!
But, how is that possible?
Job 25:4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
Psalms 130:3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
Eccl 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Romans 6:14 ..for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
So, the law still exists – break it you pay – but THE LAW IS NO LONGER FOR US.
1Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, [A true believer is ALREADY RIGHTEOUS] but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
The LAW was TEMPORARY. UNTIL IT IS NO LONGER NEEDED!
Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
1Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, [A true believer is ALREADY RIGHTEOUS] but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
So, why is the law NO LONGER FOR US?
Because we are no longer DISOBEDIENT. EVER!
Hebrews 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels [the law, see Gal 3:19 above] was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
TRANGRESSION = SIN = DISOBEDIENCE
Only ONE man has ever been OBEDIENT – according to God’s BINARY judgment.
Romans 5:19 ..by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
That PERFECT OBEDIENCE of ONE MAN makes every true believer PERFECTLY RIGHTEOUS.
So, if SIN = DISOBEDIENCE = UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
Then, SINLESS = OBEDIENT = RIGHTEOUS
You see, believers WERE diobedient.
Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Sometimes disobedient = disobedient!!
1Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
If you are disobedient, even sometimes, you will die in a flood – just like the old world did. Only this flood will be a flood of FIRE – the LAKE of fire! (Matthew 7:25,27)
1Peter 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient (ever, even sometimes), the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
1Peter 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient (ever, even sometimes): whereunto also they were appointed.
Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Jesus was NEVER disobedient (sometimes). He is PERFECT. He is RIGHTEOUS. He is OBEDIENT.
And JESUS makes every believer in Him, PERFECTLY RIGHTEOUS
Which is the same thing as PERFECTLY OBEDIENT just like Jesus is!
Romans 5:19 ..by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
SIN = DISOBEDIENCE = UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
SINLESS = OBEDIENT = RIGHTEOUS
Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient (even sometimes), and unto every good work reprobate.
Christians OBEY THE LAW PERFECTLY. IN THE SPIRIT.
THEY ARE OBEDIENT. ALL THE TIME. IN THE SPIRIT.
THEY ARE PERFECT. ALL THE TIME. IN THE SPIRIT.
THEY ARE RIGHTEOUS. ALL THE TIME. IN THE SPIRIT.
THEY MIND THE SPIRIT.
Because their flesh is sinful, rotten and untrustworthy. Even if only sometimes!!!
If you are disobedient SOMETIMES, how can God trust you to “be obedient unto death, even the death of the cross”? He can’t. He doesn’t. He won’t.
God won’t TRUST you until you are PERFECTLY ODEBIENT TO HIM. PERFECTLY OBEDIENT. Not sometimes.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Philippian 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
If it is up to my flesh – I am doomed!!!
Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.
In the flesh we are sometimes disobedient. Which means we ARE disobedient. Don’t trust the flesh for anything!
In the spirit we are perfectly obedient. Which means we ARE obedient.
Trust your belief alone, in Jesus, which is PERFECT OBEDIENCE!
