Welcome to the website of Liberty Haven Baptist Church.

We are a King James Bible believing church, standing fast in Christian liberty, free from the bondage of commandments and doctrines of men which many churches today call “standards”.

We believe the King James Bible is to be understood literally, by allowing the Scriptures to interpret themselves.

We proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, who alone can grant salvation from an eternity in the Lake of Fire. We believe a man is to be saved by grace alone, through faith, without his own fleshly works. Furthermore, we believe that all who trust in their works to gain, keep, or even to prove their salvation have not trusted and received Jesus Christ by grace alone. “Works Are Proof of Salvation”

Many false Christians today teach the subtle lie that WORKS are the EVIDENCE (they may call it the “fruit”, “byproduct” or “result) of a person’s salvation. Believing this lie will cause a person to judge unrighteous judgment and thus leaven the gospel of Christ with works. Many ask us: “If salvation is by grace through faith without works, then what about James 2?“, as if James 2 destroys a whole Bible full of doctrine, and brings a man back into the bondage of requiring works for his salvation.
